2023 Jaguar F-Pace updated with Amazon Alexa technology, new 400 Sport variant

The luxury SUV Jaguar F-Pace gets a new 400 Sport variant for 2023 and support for the voice assistant Amazon Alexa. Local details will be announced by June 2022.

That 2023 Jaguar F-Pace The lineup is being revamped for the next model year with Amazon Alexa voice assistant technology and a new 400 Sport model.

Following the 2021 300 Sport variant of the smaller E-Pace, the new F-Pace 400 Sport adds a range of black or sporty accents to Jaguar’s mid-size SUV, which is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six turbocharged petrol engine engine as standard.

Positioned above the current top of the HSE range (SVR excluded), the 400 Sport features 21-inch gloss black ‘Style 5105’ alloy wheels, black roof rails and the Black Pack which includes gloss black finishes for the intakes, door panels, window surrounds, badges and lower bumpers.

Inside, it gets Performance Windsor leather bucket seats for front occupants, a black suede headliner, Satin Charcoal Ash inlays and optional 30-color ambient lighting. 10 colors are available including Carpathian Gray and Charente Gray Premium Metallic.

The F-Pace series is available as a drive for the 400 Sport 3.0 liter inline six turbocharged petrol enginesend 294kW (or 400 hp, hence the name of the edition) and 550Nm via an eight-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels.

With the help of a 48-volt mild hybrid system and an electric compressor, the 400 Sport can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a claimed 5.4 seconds to a top speed of 250 km/h.

The 400 Sport is joined in the non-SVR 2023 F-Pace lineup by the R-Dynamic S, SE and HSE classes powered by a 184kW 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol four-cylinder ‘P250’ and A 221 kW 3.0 liter turbo diesel will be powered by inline six ‘D300’ engines.

Along with the 400 Sport, the 2023 F-Pace will get Amazon Alexa support across the range, allowing occupants to control in-car navigation and music functions using their voice or compatible smart home devices.

Although the system is new for the 2023 F-Pace, it will also be available to owners of existing F-Pace models with Pivi Pro infotainment systems via an over-the-air update – reportedly for 55,000 cars worldwide.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard on the system.

Australian prices and availability for the 2023 Jaguar F-Pace range will be announced “before June 2022,” according to the brand’s local division. Stay tuned in for the latest information.
