OMAHA (DTN) – March corn rose 3/4 cent and March soybeans rose 1 1/4 cent after the open Sunday evening. Rain showers are expected to weaken in central Brazil this week, which will have a positive impact on soybean and corn crops. In southern Brazil and Argentina, crops will benefit from better rain coverage this week. March KC wheat is up 1/2 cent and March Minneapolis wheat is down 1/4 cent. The Oklahoma and Texas Panhandle are currently experiencing a mix of snow and rain. March crude oil prices fell $0.45 and Dow Jones futures rose 12 points. The US Dollar Index fell by 0.13 and gold prices for April rose by $1.90. Markets in China are closed this week for the Lunar New Year. The 49ers lead 10-0 with a minute left in the first half.
