Posted at 10:34 a.m. – March corn down 1 1/2 cents per bushel, March soybeans down 8 1/2 cents per bushel. In March, KC wheat rose 3 cents per bushel, in March, Chicago wheat rose 11 1/2 cents per bushel, and in March, Minneapolis wheat rose 1 cent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 91.00 points to 38,635.33, the US dollar index fell 0.060 points to 104.10 and March crude oil rose $0.07 a barrel to $76.29 . The soy complex is weak, but bean oil threatening to trigger a weekly reversal could negate that. Corn is a little weaker after hitting a new low and Chicago wheat is very firm, but for what reason I'm not sure.

March KC wheat is up 3 cents per bushel, March Chicago wheat is up 9 1/4 cents per bushel and March Minneapolis wheat is up 3 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 8.84 points to 38,717.49, the U.S. dollar index fell 0.050 to 104.12 and March crude oil rose $0.67 a barrel to $76.89. Corn, soybeans and soymeal continue to lose some to the downside, while wheat futures are mixed and bean oil futures are higher and on track for a weekly bullish reversal. Thursday's WASDE report was interpreted as slightly pessimistic.
Posted at 11:40 a.m. – April live cattle are down $0.03 to $186.55, March feeder cattle are up $0.58 to $247,425, April lean hogs are up $1.18 to $81,525 rose, March corn was down 1 1/2 cents per bushel and March soybean meal was up $1.60. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 98.95 points. It's almost midday on Friday and still no cash cattle have been traded. Asking prices are over $183 in the south and over $290 in the north. Time will tell if the Packers end up paying more money or if the feedlots start with bigger show lists next week.
Posted 08:38 — April live cattle increased $0.58 to $187.15, March feeder cattle increased $1.03 to $247,875, April lean hogs increased $0.93 to $81,275 , March corn is up 3/4 cent per bushel and March soybean meal is down $4.50 . The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 11.53 points. The cash cattle market will be the focus on Friday as there hasn't been enough trading to even mention it at this point. Asking prices in the south are over $183 and in the north over $290.
