TEMPO.CO, jakarta – Financial Services Authority (OJK) Executive Head of Stock Market Observer Inarno Djajadi said the IPO of Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) is still under review. Therefore, the OJK is currently unable to provide a detailed explanation.
“We can’t give any information on the amount. Even the bookbuilding has not yet been carried out,” Inarno said in a virtual press conference on Friday, May 5, 2023.
Inarno asserted that even after the bookbuilding is complete, changes are still possible before an effective opinion is issued.
“There are still many factors that can change in terms of the amount or value of the IPO,” Inarno added.
Discussions for PHE’s IPO were initiated by Pertamina Executive Director Nicke Widyawati last February 2023. At the time, Nicke said the IPO will be conducted in line with the original target of the first half of 2023.
Deputy Minister of State Enterprises Pahala Mansury also spoke about updating the IPO fund during a hearing in the House of Representatives. Pahala said realizing IPO funds is needed to strengthen the upstream oil and gas sector.
