The initial public offering (IPO) of Honasa Consumer Ltd, the parent company of D2C brand Mamaearth, witnessed good response from investors during the bidding process.
The ₹Mamaearth’s IPO worth 1,701 crore opened for public subscription on October 31 and closed on November 2. The company finalized the basis for the IPO allotment on Friday, November 3rd.
The shares of beauty and personal care company Honasa Consumer are listed on the BSE and NSE stock exchanges. The provisional listing date is November 10th.

Mamaearth IPO GMP today or gray market premium today is ₹24 per share, according to market observers. This suggests that the Mamaearth share price was trading at a premium of ₹24 each at the gray market on Saturday November 4th.
Taking into account the upper end of the IPO price range and the current gray market premium, the estimated listing price of Mamaearth shares is ₹348 per piece, which is 7.41% higher than the IPO price of ₹324.

Mamaearth IPO Subscription Status
Mamaearth IPO was subscribed 7.61 times during the bidding process. According to the NSE, the public issue received offers for 22 crore shares against 2.89 crore shares in the offer.
In the Mamaearth IPO, the share of retail investors was subscribed 1.35 times, the share of non-institutional investors (NII) was subscribed 4.02 times and the quota reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIB) was 11.50 times booked. The employee share was subscribed 4.88 times.

Mamaearth IPO details
Mamaearth’s IPO offering opened for subscription on October 31 and closed on November 2.
Honasa Consumer increased ₹1,701 crore from the public offer. The IPO included a new issue of shares worth ₹365 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 4.12 crore shares by promoters and investors.

In the OFS, Honasa promoter Varun Alagh sold 3,186,300 shares and his wife Ghazal Alagh sold up to 100,000 shares.
The price range for Mamaearth’s IPO has been set at ₹308 tons ₹324 per share and the IPO lot size was 46 shares.
The company has reserved up to 34,013 shares for employees and provided them with a discount of ₹30 to the issue price.
