Sedibelo Resources Ltd., a South African producer of platinum group metals, filed for an initial public offering with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.
The company, previously known as Sedibelo Platinum Mines Ltd. was known, said it intends to apply to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SED. It also plans to have an internal secondary listing on the main board of JSE Ltd. operated securities exchange under the symbol SDB, the company said.
For the three months ended March 31, 2022, the company reported revenue of $53 million. For the three months ended March 31, 2021, the company reported revenue of $95.8 million.
The company did not provide an expected size for its offering, nor an expected price range.
Evercore ISI, JP Morgan and RBC Capital Markets are listed as underwriters of the offering.
