Graduate Workshop: Financial Market Data and Research from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission

On February 27, the Brookings Center on Regulation and Markets and the Center for Economic Security and Opportunity will host a virtual workshop designed exclusively for graduate students aimed at highlighting the critical role of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in global financial markets discuss the significant contributions of economists to shaping public policy and conducting important research at the CFTC. This event is a unique opportunity for graduate students to receive an introduction to how economists use data to make policy decisions and advance research, with a particular focus on the resources available at the CFTC. The workshop is free, but advance registration is required.
