GEN Restaurant Group, which owns 32 restaurants serving traditional Korean and Korean-American dishes, filed for an initial public offering with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.
The restaurateur said it had revenue of $163.7 million in 2022 and $43.9 million in the three months ended March 31. The company has locations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, Texas and New York.
GEN Restaurant has not provided an expected size or price range for its IPO. The company said it expects its Class A common stock to trade on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol GENK.
