The Nottinghamshire-headquartered Center Parcs owner is said to be trying to appoint bankers, which could lead to the sale of the £4billion holiday village business.
Brookfield Property Partners, which has held a majority stake in Center Parcs since 2015, is reportedly to hire Barclays to advise on the holiday park giant’s future.
According to Sky News, Brookfield is considering divesting a minority stake, selling out outright or going public in Center Parcs, which recently reported its best half-year results.
Center Parcs opened its first location in Sherwood Forest in 1987 and now has additional locations in Elveden Forest in Suffolk, Longleat Forest in Wiltshire, Whinfell Forest in Cumbria and Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire.
