Pakistani Celebrities Demand Action to Bring Dua Zehra Home Safely
Pakistani celebrities appeared to stand strong alongside the heartbroken family of Dua Zehra – a teenage girl who died on April 16.
Reputable names in the media fraternity took to social media to demand action from the relevant authorities to ensure Dua’s safe return to her home.
Mahira Khan took to Twitter to pray for Dua’s “safe and healthy” return. “I pray with all my heart for Dua Zehra… may she come home today… safe and sound… Ameen,” she wrote.
Ahsan Khan also reacted to the heartbreaking news, writing: “Fourteen year old #DuaZehra was apparently kidnapped about 7 days ago. Your father has already filed a police report against unknown suspects, claiming he received two ransom notes!”
Maya Ali also supported the missing girl’s parents, writing on the microblogging page: “This is absolutely heartbreaking. I can’t imagine what her parents are going through.”
“Let’s pray together for #DuaZehra that she returns home safely. I urge the authorities to take strong action and return her to her parents,” she added.
Yumna Zaidi also prayed for the “innocent girl,” writing, “May #DuaZehraKazmi return home safely.”
Sajal Aly also called for immediate action to be taken for the missing girl. “Deeply saddened by the disappearance of #DuaZehra”
“Prayers for the safe return of this young girl. The authorities must act immediately,” she added.
