Kate Middleton is being praised online after being filmed in business with Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte.
The Duchess of Cambridge, filmed on camera by TikToker @turbom1k3y on August 22, is being applauded for her decision to “keep it simple” in the face of the climate and cost of living crisis. At the time of writing, the post has garnered nearly 125,000 likes and hundreds of shares.
A number of celebrities have come under fire for their private jet use this summer. Earlier this week, director Stephen Spielberg was criticized by fans for burning $116,000 in kerosene in just two months, despite his previous work on combating climate change.
In July, research by British digital marketing firm Yard found that Taylor Swift is the biggest polluter from private planes, topping a list of celebrities including Jay-Z and Floyd Mayweather.
Although Swift is not currently on tour, so far in 2022 he has completed 170 flights totaling 8,300 tons of greenhouse gases. Like Spielberg, the pop star has spoken out against climate change.
A Swift representative slammed the study and released a statement claiming that Swift’s high mileage count was due to her lending her private plane to others. Of course, the internet responded with memes.
Kylie Jenner was also recently slammed on social media after the reality TV star reportedly used her private plane for a three-minute trip.

“Just a mother taking her kids on vacation”
In the clip, Kate, holding Charlotte’s hand, can be seen walking away from the plane that has just landed, followed by Louis and a nanny. The small group is surrounded by security guards on the way to the terminal.
Turbom1k3y shared more details of the sighting in the comments, writing, “Might get a private jet or helicopter but keep it simple. fly economy.
“She was very discreet and looked stunning doing it.”
Speaking about how down-to-earth the royal was, the poster said: “She even got up halfway through the flight to get her daughters’ iPad.
“Just a mum taking her kids on holiday to see grandmother but there was a fuss on board.
“It will accompany me for a while.”
User 104231171676 praised the king for choosing the low-cost, eco-friendly option, saying, “I mean fair play to them when it comes to the economy of flying because they don’t have to.”
The Sips chairman agreed, writing, “Royals can fly commercially, but random celebs think they’re so important they have to pollute with their private jets?”
