While Expressing Her Disgust About Men Who “Embarrass Female Celebrities”, Claressa Shields Blasts Rappers Blueface, DDG, and Others for Dissing Their Girlfriends With “Ridiculous” Songs

Claressa Shields is not the one to keep her opinions to herself. The reigning undisputed middleweight champion has a reputation for being brutally honest with her opinions and ideas on almost everything. And while the truth can be unsettling, that’s not enough of a reason to stop her from being honest with her fans. She is best known for standing up for other women. The champion recently showed her support for Keke Palmer amid her controversy with her husband. And she recently spoke about rappers Darryl Dwayne Granberyy Jr’s new song which many believe is about dissent towards his girlfriend.

Shields took to Twitter to reveal her issue with men who think it’s okay to dissent from other female celebrities or their girlfriends. She continued to catch up with Blueface, highlighting the time he embarrassed his girlfriend Christian Rock.

Shields tweeted about the recent DDG release, causing quite a stir among fans. And many have shot at the rapper for writing the lyrics to his new song, which was aimed at his girlfriend. Notably, DDG is currently dating Halley Bailey, a singer and actress.

Shields criticized DDG for his “ridiculous” song, writing, “We live in a time when these guys think it’s cool to diss or embarrass female celebrities and I hate that for us.”

It seems like the champion is fed up with the derogatory and insulting remarks that women are subjected to these days. Blueface drew global attention when he allegedly made offensive comments about his pregnant girlfriend on Twitter. And it seems Shields hasn’t forgotten that.

Shields went on to add, “First blue face, now DDG, there’s a few others.” It’s ridiculous.” For comparison, DDG’s latest release, Famous, is about his insecurities when it comes to his girlfriend. And talks about not appreciating her sharing screen space with other male actors.
