Here are all the names rumored to be in talks to sign up this year and dance for a chance to win the Glitterball Trophy.
Nigel Harman

Nigel Harman, 49, rose to fame as Dennis Rickman on EastEnders, starred in Downton Abbey and currently plays Dr. Max Christie in Casulaty.
According to Mail Online, insiders say Strictly bosses are keen to sign the TV heartthrob as viewers love a middle-aged hunk on the show.
With a background in musical theater, Harman has starred as Simon Cowell in the musical The X Factor, Lord Farquaad in Shrek and Guys and Dolls, so he already has a few dance moves up his sleeve.
Josie Gibson

Since becoming a regular presenter on This Morning, the 38-year-old Big Brother winner has grown in popularity immensely.
Josie Gibson is even rumored to be the subject of a bidding war between the ` and ITV.
But Gibson told HuffPost UK in 2022, “The thing is – and I think the Strictly team might be aware of this – I’m not really good at taking up dancing.” They’re really tough.. I don’t think my brain works that fast with my body. It takes a while.”

Strictly producers are reportedly interested in signing a couple for this year’s series, as they believe the added twist of seeing them compete could be great fun for viewers.

Following the success of Paralympic swimmer Ellie Simmonds on the show last year and EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis’ victory in 2021, Strictly aims to remain inclusive with those who sign up.
Wheelchair basketball player and TV presenter Ade Adepitan, 50, actually worked with Strictcly pros James and Ola Jordan, Brian Fortuna and Kristina Rihanoff when he hosted a show called ‘Dancing On Wheels’ on ` Three in 2010.
And now he is supposed to have conversations in order to dance himself.

And now the former Robot War co-host Angela Scanlon, 39, is the latest guest presenter to be linked with the dance competition. The mother of two competed in Irish dance competitions as a child.

Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt, 32, was a champion of children’s ballroom dancing and her name has previously been associated with the show. She seems up for any reality show Scared Of The Dark, I’m A Celebrity, whatever.
But she just had a baby five weeks before he was due, so dancing would be a lot for her to juggle.
Gordon Ramsay

TV chef and ` presenter Gordon Ramsay savored every moment as he watched his daughter Till Ramsay compete on the show in 2021. Could he consider doing it himself?
He said: “They asked me to do a Christmas special with Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix. Secretly I would like to. I’ve always wanted to dance. There is something so wonderful about rumba, samba, foxtrot and tango.”
