Soon it will be time to don a famous red nose again on behalf of Comic Relief as Red Nose Day 2023 is upon us.
Red Nose Day is an event designed to help end child poverty around the world through fundraisers and TV specials, raising money to keep children safe, healthy and educated.
A slew of celebrities have already been confirmed to host and perform on the night, and ` Morning Live’s Gethin Jones will be taking part in a 24-hour danceathon to raise money for the event.
But when is Red Nose Day in 2023?

Red Nose Day is taking place this year Friday, March 17, 2023.

Money raised from this year’s event will help people struggling with the cost of living crisis and address problems such as homelessness and food poverty.

Which celebs are attending this year’s Red Nose Day?
This year, the live TV event on ` One will be hosted by AJ Odudu and Joel Dommett alongside Zoe Ball, Paddy McGuiness and David Tennant.
Global superstar Kylie Minogue will appear in this year’s show in a special episode of ` sitcom Ghosts, and a parody of reality show Love Island will air tonight.

There’s also a slew of comedy skits and performances yet to be announced.
A host of famous faces have already donned this year’s brand new nose design to show their support for Comic Relief including Amanda Holden and ` Radio One presenter Greg James.
Last year’s event raised a staggering £42,790,147 for charity and organizers hope to surpass that figure in 2023.
Where can you buy a red nose?
This year you can buy a Red Nose from the Comic Relief website or from Amazon – the new home of the Red Nose.
This year’s Nose was designed by Sir Jony Ive, who has designed some of Apple’s most coveted products.
Composed almost entirely of plant-based materials, it begins as a tiny crescent moon before bursting into a sphere upon opening.
Speaking of its design, Sir Jony said: “We grew up with Comic Relief and are proud to support their remarkable work.
“This new and seemingly simple Red Nose was a fabulously complex little object to design and manufacture, involving our entire team. We hope it brings a little moment of joy to whoever wears it.”
Red Nose Day 2023 will be broadcast on ` One on Friday 17 March.
