Recently Tom Hanks crashed a girl’s wedding day in Pittsburgh when he stopped by and congratulated the bride and asked to take photos with the wedding party. This woman had no idea he was there and her entire party freaked out. If you had someone like Tom Hanks or a celebrity that you were a huge fan of from your photo shoot, what would you do? Anyone would freak out, but there’s a little dilemma here that many might not think of.

When you’re meeting a celebrity on your wedding day, there’s the difficult decision of whether to let your future wife or husband know so they can join in the moment. This is difficult because many believe that seeing your future spouse before the wedding brings bad luck. It could also backfire because they might be upset that you didn’t let them meet the famous person too. If my wife met Tom Hanks and nobody made me meet him, I would be depressed and upset. It would be hard to know what to do in the moment and with the surprise of everything.
Although many of us will never find ourselves in this situation because we are either married or not in the right place at the right time, will you try to get your friends and family to join you when it does happen? It’s difficult to think straight right now, but you want to share the moment and let her be a part of it. I know if Tom Hanks photobombed me, I wasn’t thinking clearly enough to catch my wife or anyone else. I would want to use every second I can to talk to him.
