After an incredible tournament in 2023, celebrities from the entertainment, music and sports worlds will once again compete in Falmouth, Maine for another amazing and emotional benefit.
After two successful years hosting the PGA Korn Ferry Tour, Shamrock Sports & Entertainment seamlessly transitioned to a celebrity golf tournament last year. The event was once again hosted by Falmouth Country Club, just a short drive from Portland.
2023 success
The prominent field of participants in the opening tournament was extremely impressive. Patrick Dempsey, Roger Clemens, Tuukka Rask, Mike Vrabel, Mike Eruzione and Marshall Faulk were just a few of the big names who competed for golf supremacy and benefited Barbara Bush Children's Hospital.
It would be PBA Pro Bowler Ronnie Russell who took home the honor of winning the tournament. The six-time PBA winner can now also win a golf championship.
But we all know what the tournament was really about, and that's about giving back. Kudos to all the players, sponsors and people behind the scenes who put on such a beautiful event for Barabra Bush Children's Hospital. In total, the tournament raised $110,000. This is an impressive number that everyone should be very proud of.
It's been an epic first year for everyone involved with Drive FORE Kids. Over 11,000 fans were in attendance over the weekend. And remember, this is just the beginning.
Are you ready for round 2?
Well, Shamrock and many other celebrities are too, as the dates for this year's tournament have been officially announced.
The 2nd Annual Drive Fore Kids is scheduled for June 20-23, 2024. It will be held again at Falmouth Country Club and many celebrities have already announced that they are planning a return.

Unfortunately, one player from last year's event will not be there in 2024. Red Sox legend Tim Wakefield tragically passed away earlier this year due to complications from cancer. Tim's legacy extended far beyond the baseball diamond, especially when it came to charitable causes. He was loved by everyone and we will miss him very much.
Tickets for next year's event are on sale. There's no better way to start 2024 than with a few tickets to this incredible upcoming event.
I miss you, Wake
