These famous sports stars will release Ponniyin Selvan’s first single

Mani Ratnam’s dream project Ponniyin Selvan is in post-production and gearing up for a September 30th multilingual release. We previously reported that the first single from the film will be released on July 31st at 6pm.
Now the creators have come up with an interesting move. Famous sports stars will release the first song across languages. Telugu song Ponge Nadhi is started by star badminton player PV Sindhu.
Cricket players Sanju Samson and Ravi Ashwin will perform the Malayalam and Tamil songs respectively. However, there is no confirmation as to who is releasing the Hindi and Kannada versions.
The film has a huge star cast. Madras Talkies in association with Lyca Productions is funding this high budget period drama. Oscar winner AR. Rahman composes the music.
