Priyanka Chopra opens up about starting a family with Nick Jonas

1. Rosie O’Donnell & Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra recently found herself in an awkward situation when she bumped into Rosie O’Donnell at a Malibu restaurant. As they ended up sitting next to each other, Rosie mentioned that she knew Priyanka’s father and assumed the actress’ father was author Deepak Chopra. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case as Priyanka’s actual father passed away years ago. Priyanka was forced to correct Rosie and explain that Chopra is a really common name.
After that it got even more embarrassing! Rosie took to TikTok to apologize for the mishap, and instead of calling Priyanka by name, she referred to her as Nick Jonas’ wife, “‘Something’ Chopra,” as well as “the Chopra woman.” Rosie later issued a second apology, admitting that she should have Googled Priyanka’s name first. Luckily, Priyanka took the whole situation in stride and issued her own response.
“I never took myself seriously to believe that everyone would know who I am or what my work is about. But if you wanted to apologize publicly for a very uncomfortable private encounter, I think it’s probably best to take the time to google my name before you do it, or even try reaching out directly.” , Priyanka shared on Instagram, “We ALL deserve to be respected for our unique individuality and not be referred to as ‘somebody’ or ‘wife’, especially in a sincere apology. When we can learn to live our differences in authentic ways.” respect, the world we are raising our children in is going to be great.”
She added, “Also PS – like I said, not all Chopras are related to the great Deepak, just like not all Smiths are related to the legendary Will Smith.”
2. Dakota Johnson & Ellen DeGeneres
Dakota Johnson was in the middle of an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show when things got a little awkward. As the conversation turned to Dakota’s recent 30th birthday, Ellen pointed out that she didn’t get an invite — but turns out she did! Dakota immediately shut Ellen down, saying, “Actually, no. That’s not the truth, Ellen.” She even reminded Ellen that it wasn’t the first time the host had complained about not being invited and that she had made the same remarks the year before, before the two were friends.
Ellen looked quite uncomfortable during the call, especially when her producers confirmed that she had definitely been invited and chose not to attend.
3. Jerry Seinfeld & Kesha
Kesha thought she was about to meet one of her favorite stars when she once saw Jerry Seinfeld on a red carpet … but things didn’t go according to plan. When she approached Jerry, who was being interviewed, he wasn’t interested in greeting her. When she asked the comedian for a hug, he said “No thanks” several times and even backed away. It turns out that Jerry had no idea who Kesha was at the time.
“I’m 63, I don’t know every pop star… I don’t know everyone. I am not [a hugger]…I don’t hug complete strangers. I need to meet someone, say hello. I have to start somewhere,” he later told Us Weekly.

4. James Corden & Demi Moore
Demi Moore caught James Corden lying during an appearance on The Late Late Show. While performing “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts,” Demi mentioned that James had told her backstage that he loved her new memoir, “Inside Out.” As part of the game, she decided to quiz him about the book and ask about his favorite chapter. When James couldn’t answer the question, he finally admitted he hadn’t actually read it.
“I did not read it. I did not read it! I’m sorry! I should have read it,” James said sheepishly.
5. Nicole Kidman & Jimmy Fallon
During an episode of “The Tonight Show,” Nicole Kidman and Jimmy Fallon were discussing one of their first meetings many years ago — and a rather uncomfortable realization ensued. As the conversation progressed, it became clear to the duo that Nicole thought their night out was a date, while Jimmy had no idea she was romantically interested in him. He actually thought her boyfriend had only brought them together for business reasons. The moment Nicole admitted she had liked Jimmy back then, he looked completely shocked and things only got more embarrassing when he realized he had missed the chance to date Nicole.
“You turned on a video game… It was so bad. You didn’t talk at all, so after about an hour and a half I was like, ‘He’s not interested. This is so embarrassing.’ And I left,” Nicole revealed.
6. Ashley Graham & Jason Momoa
Ashley Graham was hosting the Oscars red carpet for ABC when she had an awkward moment with Jason Momoa and his then-wife Lisa Bonet. While speaking with the couple, Ashley asked Jason if he could perform a “haka move” derived from a ceremonial dance in Māori culture. The pair exchanged a look and Lisa said, “He doesn’t.” Jason tried to accommodate her request by sticking his tongue out, but Lisa looked visibly uncomfortable.
7. Margot Robbie & Prince Harry
Margot Robbie says she once attended the same housewarming party as Prince Harry and ended up making a comment that didn’t sit well with the royal. The actress explained that since Harry wore glasses, she thought he might have been another famous friend – Ed Sheeran. Luckily, Harry didn’t take offense at her remark and the duo became friends.
“When I saw him with those glasses, I was like, ‘Oh, I didn’t know Ed Sheeran was at the party!’ [Harry] was really offended. He said, ‘Shut up,'” Margot recalled.

Kendall Jenner was on stage at the 2014 Billboard Awards when she made an embarrassing mistake introducing the band 5 Seconds of Summer. Things started off strong when she read the teleprompter, but when it came time to actually say the group’s name, she mistakenly started saying One Direction. Kendall just said the word “one” before temporarily ducking from the camera. In the end, she didn’t even say the group’s name before her introductory footage began rolling.
“And now we welcome… one… guys, I’m the worst reader. Um… they only get bigger! Check them out,” Kendall said awkwardly from the stage.
9. Jennifer Lawrence & Natalie Dormer
Jennifer Lawrence and Natalie Dormer were both at the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 premiere in London when they shared an embarrassing moment. Natalie was in the middle of an interview when Jennifer came up to her from behind to say hello. As Jennifer leaned in to kiss her cheek, Natalie turned to see who was behind her and they ended up kissing on the lips! Jennifer could laugh at that, but Natalie didn’t look too pleased.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry! We just kissed on camera. I liked it,” Jennifer joked, while Natalie later said she needed to “get Jennifer Lawrence off her face.”
10 Jamie Dornan & Liv Tyler
Jamie Dornan had such a crush on Liv Tyler as a teenager that he actually kept a black and white photo of the actress on his bedside table and kissed it every night! As an adult, he was introduced to Liv by a mutual friend who knew the story from the photo below – and he forced Jamie to tell her about it!
“When I was in New York I met her, my friend knew that and she said, ‘Jamie, did you tell Liv about that time?’ And I had to tell Liv Tyler to her face that I kissed a black and white photo of her every night. She was so lovely about it. But it was humiliating for me,” Jamie told British Vogue.
11. Taylor Swift & Justin Bieber
Taylor Swift was attending the 2013 Billboard Music Awards with BFF Selena Gomez when the duo bumped into Selena’s ex Justin Bieber. In the backstage interaction, which was caught on camera, Selena approached Justin to hug and kiss him to congratulate him on his victories that night. Meanwhile, Taylor avoided interacting with Justin and instead stuck out her tongue. Later that evening, she even refused to answer questions about Justin’s Milestone Award. It’s safe to say that Taylor wasn’t a fan of Justin and Selena’s on-and-off relationship at the time.
