Maye Musk, the mother of Elon MuskA rising celebrity in her own right, she made headlines again by revealing that when she visits him in Texas, she sleeps in the garage.
Although musk has billions in the bank, his mother has to stay in this unusual abode when she visits him at Boca Chica, SpaceX’s Texas headquarters, and she explained why.
“I have to sleep in the garage because you can’t have a fancy house near a missile site,” she explained in an interview with the Times.
She usually stays in New York, however, and revealed in the same interview that she likes to walk her dog while wearing “old clothes, a shabby coat, a hat and dark glasses.”
“My space isn’t big, I don’t need big,” she added.
“I don’t need wasted space because with that comes responsibility. I feel settled and said to my children: ‘This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever lived’.”
