Stars On Mars: Four New Celebrities Just Joined The Habitat, And I’m Super Excited About One Of Them

For those who missed the episode and didn’t get a chance to tune in with their Hulu subscription, the current celebrities have successfully rescued and welcomed a new generation of talent to the game, and I’m really excited to see one of them in action.

Get off the TV Andy Richter, Bachelor alum Ashley Iaconetti, iron cook vet Cat Coraand NBA legend paul pierce, What am I looking forward to the most? Pierce is at the top of my list of celebrities who I think can win anything and is possibly one of the most exciting in the game. If you know him, it’s not hard to see why.

Why I’m Glad Paul Pierce is Joining the Stars on Mars

Perhaps the biggest thing Paul Pierce will bring to Stars On Mars is more athleticism. No offense to the rest of the players in the game, but I think it’s clear that the habitat needs more people to like it Marshall Lynch And Ronda Rousey when they need people like the recently-defunct reality star Tom Schwartz. Whether it’s fair or not, this game requires a lot of physicality and those who aren’t athletes haven’t done well. For that reason alone, Pierce will be an added help to the team and possibly even save the remaining non-athletes from taking the blame for failed challenges.

Another distinctive feature of Paul Pierce is that he is no stranger to controversy. The former Boston Celtic lost his job at ESPN after a raunchy video of him went viral and if you think he’s learned a lesson from that experience, you haven’t kept up with him. In fact, Pierce recently went viral again when he appeared there Kevin Garnett‘s livestream commentary on the NBA Finals and made various comments that clearly made Garnett uncomfortable during the event.

Paul Pierce doesn’t seem afraid to speak his mind, as shown on Stars On Mars when he almost immediately insulted Ashley Iaconetti when trying to explain to other people her success in the Bachelor series. Pierce said that Iaconetti is now husband Jared Haibon chose “another girl” while filming Bachelor In Paradise, and Iaconetti “stole” her after the show.

Pierce was also right after the actress Ariel WintersHe said he didn’t appreciate the tone of her voice as she told everyone to shut up so the team leader could talk. Winter thought it was incredibly brave of a newcomer to challenge one of the veterans, while Pierce explained in a confessional that he was already working on the game’s social component. Honestly, since he’s already doing exactly what he needs to do to survive in an elimination game like this, I’m wondering if he’s watching Big Brother. In any case, he’s already brought a lot of excitement to the game, so I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Stars On Mars airs Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET on Fox. It’s currently the only prime-time show that features William Shatner throughout, and that alone has made it one of my top favorites for the summer season.
