Jack White’s ever-growing shit list just got longer. The musician posted a series of photos on Instagram showing former President Donald Trump with various celebrities, including Mel Gibson and Mark Wahlberg. In his caption, White called on all parties photographed to “normalize” Trump.
“Anyone who ‘normalizes’ or treats with any degree of respect this disgusting fascist, racist, con, disgusting piece of shit Trump is ALSO disgusting to me,” he wrote. “It’s you Joe Rogan, you Mel Gibson, you Mark Wahlberg, you Guy Fieri. This is a statement of mine, not a discussion/debate.”
White has targeted Trump in the past, and this isn’t the first time he’s targeted people who have enabled or normalized the former president’s often dangerous behavior. Back in November, the musician left Twitter after the site’s new owner, Elon Musk, reinstated Trump’s account, which was permanently suspended to prevent further incitement to violence after the Capitol stormed on January 6.

“So you gave Trump his Twitter platform back. Absolutely disgusting Elon. This is officially an asshole move. Why aren’t you honest? Tell it like it is,” he wrote at the time. “People like you and Joe Rogan (who provides platforms for liars like Alex Jones etc); You get into a lot of money, see the tax bill, despise paying your fair share, and then think that moving to Texas and getting the support of every Republican you can will help you keep more of your money (How else could Trump interest you?) ).”
With Twitter off the table, most of White’s comments on political issues have come through his Instagram – he’s not on Threads yet.
