‘SNL’ star Colin Jost to join Justin Timberlake, other celebrities at charity golf tournament

STATEN ISLAND, NY – “Saturday Night Live” star Colin Jost will trade jokes for golf clubs this summer.

The Staten Islander will compete in the 33rd annual American Century Championship (ACC), a celebrity golf tournament that raises money for local and national charities.

Jost will be joined by Justin Timberlake, Aaron Rodgers, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Annika Sorenstam and several other former and current professional athletes, comedians and TV personalities who will be competing for a record-breaking $600,000 in cash.

More than 80 players are expected to attend this year’s event and more names are expected to be added to the list ahead of the tee.

Jost is no stranger to the Links: He has been a frequent participant in several Staten Island charity golf events over the years.

According to NBC Sports, which owns the televised event, the ACC has donated more than $5 million to charities over the years.

The tournament, taking place July 6-10 at Lake Tahoe, Nevada, is a modified 54-hole Stableford format. It will be televised July 8-10, with Golf Channel broadcasting the opening round on Friday and NBC airing live coverage on Saturday and Sunday.

In 2021, former NBA player and coach Vinny Del Negro took the title.

Tickets are available at AmericanCenturyChampionship.com, with day tickets for Wednesday’s practice round and Thursday’s Celebrity-Amateur for $30 and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday tournament rounds for $40 per day. A five-day all-terrain pass costs $90.

Visit the ACC website for the full list of participating celebs.
