From Manolo Blahnik to Christian Louboutin, many celebrity footwear brands are best known for their slim stiletto heels – but for New York designer Sarah Flint, it was a pair of pointed ballet flats that catapulted her into the spotlight.
In 2017, Meghan Markle made her first public appearance with Prince Harry at the Invictus Games, dressed in ripped jeans, a white button-up shirt and Flint’s Natalie Flat ($450) in a rich saddle shade.
Flint, whose eponymous label is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, tells Page Six Style it was “a wonderful moment” when the future Duchess of Sussex chose one of her designs for such a crucial outing.
“Whenever someone decides to wear one of my shoes for a special time in their life, it makes me so proud to share that moment with them, even in the smallest way,” she adds.

The king is far from the only famous fan of Sarah Flint’s shoes; Her good friend Amal Clooney adores the Perfect Emma Block Heel Pump (starting at $495), which she owns in no fewer than three different colors.

And in January 2023, another friend of Markle’s, Priyanka Chopra, chose the Perfect Pump 100 ($550) in a chic plaid pattern to see husband Nick Jonas and his brothers receive their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Still, the Duchess is perhaps the brand’s biggest fan; She’s been spotted in Sarah Flint shoes more than 30 times over the years, sporting athletic styles ranging from the lace-up Grear sandal ($395) to the tortoiseshell-heeled Perfect Jay Pump 100 ($550).

And while Sarah Flint shoes have also become a staple at high-profile events, Paris Hilton paired the crystal-encrusted Perfect Pump 100 ($595) with her glittery Celine gown at the 2023 Grammys, while Jane Fonda opted for the gold Perfect Emma Pump decided ($495) for the ’80 for Brady’ premiere — the designer tells us, “What excites me even more are the celebrity-style moments that happen off the red carpet.”

Flint adds, “It feels so meaningful when these women, who have endless style options, choose to wear our shoes over and over again. I love seeing them wear their shoes to work, running errands, going out on the town or just enjoying the time at home. It’s their love and continued support of the brand that means everything.”
