While King Charles may have been the star of Saturday’s coronation, there’s no denying that he faced stiff competition from the style on display that day.
From Australian-born Princess Mary stunning in a deep purple ensemble, to Pippa Middleton bringing bright color to the day in a yellow outfit, and Katy Perry showing off her celebrity credentials in a pretty pink skirt and matching jacket shows – there was no shortage of stunning fashion moments.

Princess Maria
Renowned for her impeccable style, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark didn’t let her fans down on Saturday when she stepped out elegantly in a tailored Soren Le Schmidt coat dress. Mary accessorised with a clutch by Carlend Copenhagen and a pair of matching pumps by Gianvito Rossi. In a nod to Denmark’s Queen Margrethe, Princess Mary is said to have worn a pair of earrings given to her by the monarch.

Pippa Middleton
Pippa Middleton is always on the best-dressed lists and she threw it back out of the park on Saturday in this eye-catching pastel ensemble. Pippa donned a yellow Claire Mischevani coat that fastened at the waist with a large button. She combined it with a fascinator by Jane Taylor London, a clutch in nude and a pair of pumps by Emmy London in nude.

Kate Middleton
The star of the show was undoubtedly Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, who oozed glamor on the day in an ivory silk crepe dress by Alexander McQueen. She bucked tradition by wearing an Alexander McQueen headdress instead of a crown, and paid tribute to the late Diana with her diamond earrings.

Katy Perry
Katy Perry took her Hollywood style to the max and stood out from the crowd in a Vivienne Westwood outfit. She added her own quirky style to the piece by pairing it with long gloves, an oversized hat and a glittery necklace.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s wife, Akshata Murty, opted for the same designer as Pippa Middleton on the day and looked stunning in a baby blue Claire Mischevani dress. She paired her short-sleeved dress with a black fascinator, black pumps and a black clutch.

US President Joe Biden’s wife, First Lady Jill Biden, also wore blue that day, arriving at Westminster Abbey in a tailored Ralph Lauren skirt suit. She wore a fascinator with a blue bow in her hair and matched her outfit with a bare handbag and bare heels.

Queen Rania of Jordan donned a custom made pastel gown by Tamara Ralph for the King’s coronation. She stunned in the lemon yellow silk crepe pencil dress, which featured a structured, off-the-shoulder bow collar. She paired the look with a pair of white Jimmy Choo heels and a white Bottega Veneta clutch.
