Sam Ryder led the celebrity arrivals for the 2022 Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Thursday.
The 33-year-old singer, who came second to Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, wore black attire for the evening and added a pop of color to his outfit with some glittery flashes of purple and pink sequins on his jumper.
Spaceman hitmaker Sam, who will take the stage during the performance, wore baggy black pants to match his top and accessorised with a necklace of colorful heart-shaped beads.

He completed his look by wearing a pair of comfortable black and gray trainers and was in good spirits as he flashed a smile on the red carpet.
The show will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX on December 20th and the event is the first since the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September.
Lee Mack will host this year’s show, replacing Alan Carr and taking place in aid of the Royal Variety Charity.

Joining Sam will be Nile Rodgers with his band Chic, while George Ezra and Becky Hill will also take the stage.
Rita Wilson and Gregory Porter will sing a duet and Frank Skinner, David Baddiel and The Lightning Seeds will perform the remake of their 1996 hit Three Lions.
Meanwhile, this year’s Britain’s Got Talent winner, comedian Axel Blake, will deliver a stand-up routine as part of his award for being voted the show’s champion.

The Royal Variety Performance airs Tuesday 20 December between 8pm and 10.30pm on ITV1.
