A look at celebrities who have spoken out about their regrets about getting plastic surgery
Celebrities always focus on their looks as they are in the spotlight at all times.
It’s no secret that many stars undergo cosmetic surgery to enhance their facial features. But there were also times when they shared the regret they felt after the surgery went wrong.
Here are five such celebrities who shared their regrets.
Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently opened up about the dark times she had as she underwent nose surgery in the early years of her career. The Citadel actor opened up about how the medical procedure resulted in her losing three acting projects.
Chopra, who appeared on SiriusXM, the radio show hosted by Howard Stern, said she “fell into a deep depression” after the surgery went wrong.
Supermodel Bella Hadid was only 14 when she had nose surgery, a decision she still regrets to this day. In 2022, Hadid opened up about her regrets in an interview with Vogue.
“I wish I’d kept my ancestors’ nose,” she said, adding that she would have eventually grown into it. Hadid is the younger sister of fellow supermodel Gigi Hadid.
Courteney Cox underwent plastic surgery in 2017 and regrets her decision. She told New Beauty that she’s become addicted to surgery.
“I had to learn to embrace movement and realize that fillers are not my friend. I have dissolved all my pens. I’m as natural as I can be. I feel better because I look like myself,” she said.
Jennifer Garner once gave advice to all women and asked them not to obsess over their looks.
She told Harper’s Bazaar: “Be careful when it comes to injecting yourself in the face. Be very, very, very reasonable and wait as long as possible before adding anything. Don’t think you’re 37 and you have to shoot your face up.”
Jane Fonda once said she stopped going under the knife to keep herself from looking “distorted.” In an interview with Vogue, Fonda once revealed that she once had a facelift but stopped at it.
“I don’t want to look distorted. I’m not proud that I did it [one]’ she told the interviewer while reminiscing about her experience.
