ISLAMABAD — Argentina’s Lionel Messi, one of the greatest players the game has ever seen, led his country to an epic victory over holders France in Sunday’s FIFA World Cup final in Qatar.
With Messi being crowned the best footballer of all time, his fans around the world, including actors, politicians and athletes, are showering him with praise.
As thousands cheered for Messi at Qatar’s Lusail Stadium, some Pakistani stars were also in attendance to watch the epic game.
Humayun Saeed, Sajal Aly and Mehwish Hayat, alongside several Pakistanis, watched the game at the stadium and heaped praise on the blue shirts. Celebrities like Mahira Khan, Ayeza Khan, Ayesha Omar, Asim Azhar and Shaan also took to social media to congratulate the winning team.
