New Celebrity-Inspired Spa Opens At Blackberry Mountain Resort

now houses a spa that’s sure to draw VIPs, celebrities — and you.Joanna Czech

There’s a new kid in town, in Tennessee, and it’s practically guaranteed to draw celebrities and VIPs — including yourself! This dream destination is sure to end up on your bucket list.

Acclaimed esthetician and skincare guru Joanna Czech is expanding her brand with the first Joanna Czech-certified spa in Blackberry Mountain, at her spa called Nest. Nestled in Tennessee’s serene Smoky Mountains, Nest takes a holistic approach to wellness that reflects the Czech approach to skincare and general wellness. Nest is the first of many spas to use Czech’s techniques as she plans to expand her knowledge to more locations.

Ms. Czech’s celebrity clients include Kim Kardashian, Hailey Bieber, Amber Valletta, Cara Delevingne, Nicky Hilton, Lily James and many others. In fact, celebrities like Paris Hiton and Anna Wintour recently had signature “Met Gala” facials with Joanna Czech just ahead of the celebrity-studded event in New York. Ms. Czech has a flagship store in New York and a studio in Texas – and is now available in the Smoky Mountains. Why did she choose Blackberry Mountain in Tennessee as her newest location?

The real question is why she shouldn’t go for BlackBerry Mountain. She told me that she fell in love when she first visited Blackberry Mountain. Her philosophy and brand truly aligns with her own and she knew this was the perfect place to launch the Joanna Czech Method.

Sprawling over 5,200 acres in the Great Smoky Mountains, Blackberry Mountain offers a legacy of world-renowned hospitality and an unwavering dedication and appreciation for the land. Rising above Miller’s Cove in Walland, Tennessee, Blackberry Mountain has 2,800 acres of land dedicated to conservation. This effort to preserve the natural wonder of the mountains offers breathtaking views and a tranquil escape from the stresses of modern life.

A little history: Sandy and County Beall opened Blackberry Farm in 1976 as a charming six room country inn. Their son, Sam Beall, took over the role of owner in the early 2000’s to continue the Beall family’s dream of creating valuable experiences and sharing traditions of Southern hospitality. Sam’s vision and inspirational commitment to his work made Blackberry Farm the world-renowned company it is today. Sam’s love and appreciation for delicious cuisine, great wines and sharing memorable moments with family, friends and guests laid the foundation for the standard of service at the farm and now at The Mountain. It’s a wellness retreat and culinary destination that also offers outdoor adventures. It offers a variety of accommodation including stone houses, cabins without TVs and even tree houses for the perfect intimate setting.

As part of this exciting new partnership, Czech has directly trained the spa’s estheticians to offer their clients their signature curated facial. Nest’s Joanna Czech Enhanced LED Facial launches April 14, utilizing the most innovative techniques and technologies in one treatment. The facial costs $650 for 90 minutes and is tailored entirely to each client’s skin condition on the day of the treatment, rather than skin type — meaning no two facials will be exactly the same. The treatment includes a deep tissue massage, diamond peeling, microcurrents, ultrasound and oxygen infusion to result in a radiant, healthy complexion.

To celebrate the partnership, Czech will be at Blackberry Mountain on April 13th and 14th, offering treatments with limited availability. She will also share more about her Joanna Czech Skincare line, which will be available at Nest so customers can keep their glow at home.

With 37 years of experience that began in Poland, Joanna Czech believes that the key to beautiful skin lies in a long-term approach, not short-term quick fixes. Her treatments combine the most innovative technologies and timeless techniques, many of which she learned in Poland. While Joanna completed 12,000 hours (about a year and a half) of schooling in Poland to become a beautician, in the US you only need to complete 600 hours. “In Poland, it’s much more science-oriented,” she told me in an email interview. She added: “They are trained to perform any treatment that has to do with the human body. You begin by studying the anatomy, physiology, and pathology of a nail plate. Once you’re allowed to touch the skin, you start using a lot of massage techniques.” She even learned to make her own products at school.

And you know what? There are even new travel-size mini-sets of their best-selling products to ‘take with you’.
