South Africa’s most talked about woman, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana, has been associated with numerous well-known public figures.
With the recent arrest of Magudumana in Tanzania, Mmereka Patience Martha Ntshani, popularly known as Dr. Pashy known to get into hot water.
This comes after revelations that Magudumana stole Ntshani’s identity while fleeing the country with her lover Thabo Bester. The lovebirds and a Mozambican man were caught in the east African country late on Friday.
Sunday World has learned a fistfight has broken out as Interpol officers and Tanzanian police, along with their Mozambican aide, arrested South Africa’s most wanted fugitives.
Bester and his accomplices, who were en route to Kenya on their cross-border escapade, finished second best in Friday night’s physical altercation near the border.
Shortly before, the trio had attempted to evade police officers in a high-speed pursuit, but later abandoned their getaway car and attempted to flee on foot.
However, authorities stayed on their trail and eventually caught up with them.
In a statement released on Monday, the Dr. Pashy Foundation, Ntshani Seeking Legal Advice Regarding Identity Theft.
“In 2020, the organization hosted a women’s seminar with Dr. Nandipha as one of the guest speakers,” the statement said.
“This event was consistent with the organization’s sole purpose of inspiring, empowering and uplifting women and children.
“The company also entered into an agreement with Vibes Africa Incorporation International, a company wholly owned by Dr. Nandipha Magudumana is.”
The foundation denied allegations in the media and said it never received any funding from Magudumana.
Noted journalist Redi Thlabi also found herself in the spotlight on Twitter after users pulled a 2018 tweet complimenting Magudumana.
Thlabi’s journalistic skills have now come under the spotlight following the revelation.
King of Kwaito, Arthur Mofokate, was also abducted after his old post surfaced on social media saying his doctor was better than others, referring to Magudumana.
