Hundreds of mourners lined the front lawn of the iconic Graceland mansion on Sunday to pay their respects at a memorial to Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis’ only child, who died on Jan. 12.
Presley, 54, suffered fatal cardiac arrest and is buried in the grounds of the mansion in Memphis, Tennessee – alongside her adored father and beloved son Benjamin, who died by suicide in 2020.
The late singer’s service – packed with high-quality speeches and performances – opened with the singing of “Amazing Grace” by Jason Clark and the Tennessee Mass Choir, followed by a performance of “To Sheila” by Billy Corgan.
Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, then read “A Tribute to the Children” followed by Alanis Morrissette, who performed “Rest”.
Presley’s mother, Priscilla, spoke at the service with Riley Keough, her eldest daughter.
Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses performed the band’s song “November Rain”.

Lisa Marie Presley’s three daughters, Keough, and 14-year-old twins, Finley and Harper, are expected to inherit Graceland through a trust after their mother’s death.
In the mansion – valued at an estimated half a billion dollars – Elvis died at the age of 42; Lisa Marie received the property for her 25th birthday and became the sole owner.
In a Playboy interview, the mother of three spoke of having been buried in Graceland 20 years before her death.
“Graceland’s back lawn is basically a graveyard. How many people have a family plot in their backyard? She said. “All the graves are lined up and there is a place waiting for me, right next to my grandmother.”
“I’m sure I’ll end up there,” she said. “Or I shrink my head and put it in a glass box in the living room. That way I can bring more tourists to Graceland.”
