Park Ridge Mayor Marty Maloney, Fire Chief Jeff Sorensen, Police Chief Bob Kampwirth and State Senator Laura Murphy (D-28th) took on a task last Saturday that isn't in any of their job descriptions but is still worth it: the little one reading during a gathering celebrating literacy and libraries on the lawn of the Park Ridge Public Library.
