Zoe and Lenny Kravitz shared a special moment at his Walk of Fame ceremony. Zoe accompanied her father as he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The two took a moment to hug and smile at each other before she gave a speech.
The video shows the two hugging, with Lenny turning to smile at Zoe and kiss her on the cheek.
The occasion was special: Zoe took the stage to introduce her father and gave a loving speech in which he also poked fun at his fashion sense. “Lenny Kravitz, I have had the pleasure of knowing you for a long time and I have to say, being your daughter has been one of the greatest adventures of my life,” she said. “Since you were so young when I was born, we grew up together in many ways. We've been through a lot. We have seen a lot. I have seen much.”
Lenny had Zoe with Lisa Bonet when he was 24 years old in December 1988.
“I saw your incredible commitment to your art, but most of all I saw through your shirts,” Zoe said. “According to my dad, if it doesn't expose your nipples, it's not a shirt.”
She shared that she used to find her father's clothes embarrassing, but now she respects them. “You can really do it,” she said. “Your relationship with a fishnet shirt is probably your longest and it works,” she said, making the audience laugh.
