Jonathan Majors’ legal team claims ‘He is completely innocent and probably the victim’ after his release

Jonathan Major was arrested yesterday on suspicion of assaulting a woman in a taxi a few days ago. Now his lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, claims he is innocent and she has doubled down on the possibility that he is the likely victim of the woman’s assault.

Priya Choudhary claims that there is evidence that will prove Majors have committed no crime and that the woman paddles back on the facts of her story.

Speaking to TMZ, Major’s attorney claimed, “Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and likely the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. We are rapidly gathering evidence and presenting it to the district attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped shortly.”

She quipped that there is evidence proving his innocence, including footage from the taxi of the woman claiming the altercation took place, as well as statements from the driver and others who saw the event and around the deal seal, written statements of the woman.

She claims that “We expect these fees to be dropped soon. Prosecutors will typically seek protective orders on these matters while they are being resolved.”

The official charges for majors are assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault and harassment.

The woman, who appears to be his girlfriend, has been granted limited protection by the court as the court believes she needs one ‘larger force field‘.

The actor recently signed a deal to be the face of the US Army in an ad campaign and his ads aired but were shut down during his legal troubles while the US Army PR department conducts their due diligence.
