Most Nigerian stars celebrated their love and connection with big, lavish, high-profile weddings and even weddings abroad, but a select few held back until deciding to reveal their marital status.
Legit.ng has compiled a list of some Nigerian celebrities who have had secret marriages.

Johnny Drille hasn’t once said anything about his marriage, even by mistake, but it’s clear that women who find his beautiful love songs special now know his inspiration.
2. Davido
Fans and even colleagues of the singer were looking forward to his marriage to his wife Chioma until their son Ifeanyi tragically passed away.
The “Unavailable” crooner eventually revealed that he and his Chioma are now husband and wife and that it’s a low-key affair.
Davido only confirmed the news with a photo for Chioma’s 28th birthday, which appears to have been a photo from their court wedding.
3. Adekunle Gold and Simi
AG Baby and his Orente have been open about their relationship, but decided to keep it low-key about their wedding.
The duo surprised netizens because although the wedding took place in Lagos, the superstars managed to keep them surrounded by friends and family.

4. Mercy Aigbe
The actress’ marriage still draws a lot of criticism on social media for being content with being a second wife.
In 2022, after long calling herself “Aya the Owner,” the mother-of-two revealed her husband, Kazim Adeoti aka Adekaz.
Despite the heavy trolling, Mercy and her husband are doing well and recently went on Hajj with him.
5.Regina Daniels
To this day, Regina Daniels is still remembered for marrying her grandfather, despite being happy with him.
Social media went crazy when it was revealed that the young actress had married her billionaire husband Ned Nwoko in a small ceremony attended only by the family.
Regina has two sons for her husband and is slowly becoming a major force in his political career.
