The wife of the former Barcelona defender Daniel Alves, Johanna SanzShe has announced that she will be retiring from social media in favor of her mental health.
The year for Sanz started with the death of her mother, which she is probably still trying to process before this grief was massively amplified Alves was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a Barcelona nightclub in late 2022.

“Given the media harassment I’ve been subjected to, I’ve decided to stop using my social media,” the Spanish model said in a statement released on Instagram.
“I don’t know if that’s enough to stop the media waiting for me at airports, in front of my house or in hotels, in front of restaurants, in the middle of my work or when addressing my loved ones.
“I hope this all stops because it’s affecting my mental health and social life.
“I’m not a person who lives for the public because it scares me and it’s not for me.
“Thank God I can do my job away from the media limelight.
“Thank you to all the people who have supported me with valuable messages of encouragement and even hugged me on the street without knowing me.
“I don’t know if I’m coming back, it’s time to switch off.”
