Although Mizrahi is best known as a designer whose life and career was chronicled in the 1995 documentary Unzipped, he has more recently made his name as a musical actor. He has given an annual two-week residency at the Cafe Carlyle in Manhattan and in November made his Broadway debut as Amos Hart, husband of accused murderess Roxie Hart, in the hit “Chicago.”
Mizrahi also hosted the talk show The Isaac Mizrahi Show for seven years and served as a judge on the reality television competition Project Runway: All-Stars.
