I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! Viewers were stunned during Tuesday night’s episode when Nick “The Honey Badger” Cummins was attacked by a snake during a terrifying challenge.
The former Bachelor, who entered the jungle on Monday night, was forced to complete a series of tasks a real honey badger can do in order to collect stars and win meals for his housemates.

After climbing a tree while shocking with electrodes and eating a honey-coated Madagascar hissing cockroach, Nick was told to put his hand in a box containing a python for 30 seconds.
However, just seconds into the task, the reptile jumped up and bit its wrist before wrapping itself around his hand.
“Don’t worry, this snake isn’t poisonous,” explained host Dr. Chris Brown while Nick grimaced in pain. “Well done Nick. Wow, that was unexpected.”

After the surrender, Chris saw blood on Nick’s hand and called a paramedic to treat the injury.
“That was intense, man,” Nick laughed. “What an epic experience. This is fantastic.”
“That’s one way to check it out,” noted Chris.
His wound was then cleaned and the paramedic approved him to continue with the challenge where he eventually earned 10 out of 13 stars for the camp.
“Quite confronting”
Viewers were quick to take to social media to share their thoughts after the incident, with a number of people calling the challenge “insane” and “insane.”
“The speed at which this snake wrapped its body around his arm was quite confronting,” one person wrote, followed by another, who added, “That’s why I could never get on that show…that’s really.” my worst fear.”
“It’s pretty intense. But if someone does get bitten, they’re probably lucky it’s Nick,” wrote a third, while another said, “Only the honey badger can get bitten by a snake and call it an epic experience.”
The story goes on
“Snake bites are pretty painless, the anticipation gets you,” replied another user. “Nick took it like a champ.”
Meanwhile, others said it was “disgraceful,” “disgusting,” and “terrible” that the show would get anyone through this experience.
“That’s not okay,” one viewer remarked, while another asked, “Why would you do that to him?”.
“There’s nothing cool about that at all. Almost threw up,” shared another, while another user said, “It’s pretty hard that Nick had to get bitten by a snake just to get stars for camp. Seriously”.

Nick’s salary revealed
Nick’s encounter with the snake comes shortly after a source told Yahoo Lifestyle that he was paid a staggering sum of money to appear on the reality show.
“His deal is said to be worth somewhere between $250,000 and $300,000, making him one of the highest-paid roommates this year,” the insider tells us.
“It’s a little less than the $500,000 he got for The Bachelor, but this is a shorter production with fewer requirements and rules. It’ll all be over in a couple of weeks, unlike The Bachelor where he had to put his life on hold for six months.”
