I'm A Celebrity fans are finding out more about Sam Thompson every day after his appearance on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! was crowned king of the jungle!

But now the latest revelation from the former Made In Chelsea star, 31, is what his real full name actually is.

Sam has stunned fans after they discovered his unsurprisingly “posh” name – Samuel Robert De Courcy Thompson.

Meanwhile, Sam's girlfriend ZaraMcDermott told him she fell in love with him “all over again” when he called her at 4am after she won I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here this year! on Sunday.

Sam was crowned King of the Jungle with 56.6% of the vote, while retired boxer Tony Bellew, 41, came second with 43.4% of the vote.

Former Love Island star Zara, 26, didn't fly to Australia to meet Sam when he got out of the jungle, but he claimed she told him her feelings for him had grown stronger after they had seen him on the ITV show where Zara declared her love for him when he called from Down Under in the early hours of the morning UK time.

Sam told the Mirror: “She said she had fallen in love with me all over again and was prouder than ever.”

He continued: “It was so nice to hear because it's been a long month and she was obviously my first call and I needed to hear her voice to remind me of home, even though she said I probably smelled .”

Reality star Sam said Zara can't wait for him to return to the UK so they can spend the holidays together.

Sam added: “She said she can't wait to spend Christmas together and just do little silly things like curl up on the sofa and decorate the tree, all things she knows how to do that I wanted to hear them.”

Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Sam held back tears as he paid tribute to Zara in an emotional interview on Monday.

Zara hosted a viewing party at her house for the finale and as a surprise for her boyfriend, she sent a sweet video message which was played on ITV's Lorraine.

Addressing her boyfriend of four years, Zara said: “I don't think the word 'proud' is even enough anymore. The way you conducted yourself in that jungle and made everyone feel so comfortable brought so much shine to this camp.”

She continued, “I've never met anyone like you. 'I love you so much and can't wait to have you back.'

Overcome with emotion, Sam said, “That's the cutest thing when you see something like that, that's my little goose!”

'I miss her so much. I know she slept on my side every night and I'm so lucky to have her in my life – I have so many people who ask, “How did you do that?” and I don't know.

“Sometimes I wake up to check if she's still there and if it's a dream, and luckily it's not! I'm so lucky to have her in my life.”

Zara took part in Strictly Come Dancing this year, but she and her professional dance partner Graziano Di Prima became the fifth couple to be eliminated from the competition in October.

Sam expected Zara to still be on the show and instead invited his good friend, former The Only Way Is Essex star Pete Wicks, to greet him after his jungle exit in Australia.

And Sam was full of kind words for Pete, gushing: “Pete is the best mate you could ask for.”

“He is not one of our immediate relatives and has been here for two weeks and is a rock in the surf for my girlfriend, who could not be there, as well as for my mother and my friends.”

“Even in the hotel now he shows me around and asks, ‘Are you okay, mate?’ I’ve never heard him do that before, he’s usually very strict!

“And with him at the end of the bridge, if it wasn't Zara, it was him. 'I'm just so lucky, I have a lot to thank him for.'

He admitted he was “overwhelmed” by the support shown to him and that he cried when he saw a clip of his loved ones throwing an I'm A Celeb party and joked continued: “I owe a lot of people a lot of dinners!”

Although Sam is set to make millions after leaving the jungle, he admitted he hasn't yet thought about what his next step will be.

He mused: “I always sound so cheesy, that’s the beauty of doing a show like this. I'm really happy with where I am at the moment.” I have my radio show and my podcast…

“I just wanted to do the show to create the greatest experience in the world.” The nice thing is that I don't even know if I need to do anything else.

“I’m so lucky already that I have no idea what I’m going to do next or if I’m going to do anything.”
