Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper have been spotted strolling the streets together since last October. The images are sterile, but they resemble a budding romance. Most of what we know about their relationship comes from the gentle, hand-holding PDA shots from paparazzi or pictures of them coming out of a restaurant. Sources close to the couple add to the details. “Their relationship is easy, fun and normal,” a source told Entertainment Tonight on February 2, using the word “normal” in a normal way. “They connect through family, friends, conversations about life, parenting, public life, humor and more. They have a synergy and an understanding about all of these things and it connects them in a deep way.” A second insider said it more accessible: “Gigi and Bradley are in love.” They met through Cooper's friendly ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk and common friends.
Spotted on everyday dates or returning from supposed vacations at Taylor Swift's Rhode Island getaway, the model and maestro have kept things private and low-key. But now sources suggest that one couple or two are in the process of beta testing their relationship like twenty-somethings making Instagram official. The grown-up couple reportedly got off to a “rough start” at the Oscars, only to make a U-turn just over 24 hours later. Now the couple will remain unofficial beyond the Via Carota outings – Hadid will reportedly stay home to spend time with her child on Oscars Sunday. Maybe the results of the soft launch of hard launch made them scrap the whole idea. Either way, here's a timeline of their hard launch failures.
March 5, 2024: A source software starts a “hard launch”. According to the insider, the couple could appear together at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in four days. “It's definitely getting more serious, they're totally in love with each other,” a source tells Page Six in a quote that's now missing from the article. “I don't know if they'll walk the Vanity Fair carpet together, but inside they'll bond.”
March 7, 2024: Not really. “Gigi is not attending the Oscars with Bradley and will be at home with her daughter,” a source said, according to Entertainment Tonight. However, another source told the outlet that their relationship is still good. “Bradley and Gigi are both really happy. They have a great time together, get along well as a couple and are raised together in a healthy way on both sides.”
