George Clooney opens up about a health ordeal he endured as a teenager.
While he was on the 20th Anniversary episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! On Thursday, the 61-year-old actor sat down with host Jimmy Kimmel and, at one point during the show, discussed how he was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy when he was younger.
Clooney, who had Kimmel’s first guest on his late-night talk show series when it premiered in 2003, was joined by Snoop Dogg, who served as co-host for the early episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! back then.
After Kimmel, 55, shared a throwback photo of Dogg, 51, from high school, the comedian also shared a series of photos of Clooney from around the same time.

“George, we happen to have some pictures of you, that was right before high school,” Kimmel said, sharing a first photo of a teenaged Clooney with a bowl cut and glasses.
“I would like to point out that my mom cut my hair,” the actor replied, before Kimmel then pulled out another picture of him a few years older, showing him with a slightly crooked smile.
But before Kimmel could poke fun at Clooney’s performance, the Ticket to Paradise star told him, “Now wait, I want to point out something, because you’re going to laugh, you’re going to be joking. I have Bell’s palsy there and half of my face is paralyzed.”

“Look at that, look at that,” Clooney added while covering half of his face in the photo with his hand. “If you walk like that, it’s a whole different face on the other side. So now make your joke. Come on funny man. Come on, let me show you my sad face.”
However, Kimmel said: “You know what? I wasn’t kidding, George, and you really brought everyone down.”

He then continued, “Maybe we should toast again to get things going again,” before he, Clooney and Dogg took a shot together.
