The capital of the United Arab Emirates is attracting plenty of big names as Formula 1 rolls into town for the annual Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
While the drivers are in the spotlight on the route, celebrities, from actors to models to athletes, also pamper themselves on the viewing platforms.
Aside from celebrities who appeared during the post-race concerts, including Shania Twain and Chris Brown, many others came to the Yas Marina Circuit as F1 fans.
During Lewis Hamilton’s walk around the grid, Britain’s seven-time world champion was greeted by a handful of VIPs, including model Naomi Campbell, Indian actress Priyanka Chopra and Chris and Liam Hemsworth, both frequent visitors to the United Arab Emirates.
The clip, which surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), also featured former tennis player Maria Sharapova. The Russian personality has long been a supporter of Hamilton.
British actor Jason Statham was also seen on the tracks and posed for a selfie with Japanese racing driver Yuki Tsunoda.
American rapper, singer and record producer Will.i.am was featured again this year after also appearing at the Grand Prix last year.
Other notable names to appear in the UAE capital this year included Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur, soccer players Kevin De Bruyne, Paul Pogba and Brazilian legend Ronaldo, as well as Chinese-American actress Liu Yifei.
