Nigeria is undoubtedly enjoying a lot of great PR lately, mainly due to the entertainment industry and the actions of the youth in the country.

Despite the country’s numerous downsides, some international stars have continued to show their keen interest in linking up with Nigeria and that doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

1.Rick Ross:

Popular American rapper and businessman Rick Ross was recently in Nigeria directing various shows to mark the Easter celebrations. The music star’s visit to the country caused a stir, particularly after Nigerian artist MI claimed rappers from the country weren’t highly rated because they weren’t given special access to the international star.

Rick Ross stayed in Nigeria for a few days and was in two major cities, Lagos and Abuja. His shows were also a great success.

2. DaBaby:

The presence of this American rapper in Nigeria was unexpected and only top singer Davido seemed to know about his visit. Shortly after DaBaby landed in Lagos, he was enjoying the fun and nightlife in town as he cruised with Davido. The international star even made headlines with his generosity, as he has been known to give out $100 bills or more to people. DaBaby’s bodyguard also appeared to be enjoying the country, and he was spotted collecting a baby’s phone number on Lagos Island during a video shoot.

3. Porsha Williams:

This American reality show star visited Nigeria to surprise her boo from Edo state, Simon Guobadia. Simon had no idea Porsha was coming and she planned the surprise with one of her friends. The cute video went viral on social media. The reality show star stayed in the country for several days and was treated to delicious Nigerian food, traditional Nigerian outfits and more. The celebrity couple mostly hung out with Davido and his crewmates.

4. Floyd Mayweather:

American boxing champion Floyd Mayweather recently visited Nigeria and was received by top politicians. The international star reportedly arrived in the country on a talent hunting mission. However, his visit caused a stir after veteran singer Daddy Showkey blasted his hosts for not including Nigerian boxers in Mayweather’s visit to the country.

5. Patrice Evra:

The former Manchester United player visited Nigeria and made sure to go to an unexpected place, Oshodi Underbridge, while playing chess with young talented players. They appeared to be having a great game and the legendary footballer shared videos of his visit on his social media pages.

6. Tion Wayne:

This British rapper of Nigerian descent was beyond excited to visit his native country in April 2022. Tion Wayne would visit his grandfather’s house, mingle with the residents and generally have a great time. Photos and videos from his visit to Nigeria made the rounds on the internet.

It’s interesting to note that Nigeria seems to be doing something right given the frequency with which international stars visit the country.

Huge crowd greets DaBaby in Lagos

Legit.ng previously reported that DaBaby arrived in the city of Lagos, Nigeria and fans welcomed him to the always-busy streets.

The rapper shared a video of the moment a huge crowd gathered around him to give him a nice welcome around town.

In the video, fans were fighting to get their hands on him, and a man could be heard advising the rapper to hold onto his phone.
