“Everybody’s trying to be a fucking victim” Chris Rock during a presentation in Atlanta, Georgia last Friday night: “If everyone claims to be a victim, then no one will hear the real victims. Even I get beat up by Suge Smith…I went to work the next day, I had kids.”
People magazine claimed Rock said, “Anyone who says words hurt has never been slapped in the face.”

The stand-up comedian is currently touring his show on what he calls the “Ego Death World Tour,” which he recently photographed with a goat that fellow comedian and co-headliner Kevin Hart gave him and decided to to call her Will.
It was unacceptable
Smith’s apology was deemed “unacceptable” by Chris Rock, who also noted that he was unwilling to address this or anything involving the former “Prince of Bel-Air.”

Will Smith posted a video on Youtube saying he “reached out to Chris and the message that came back is he’s not ready to talk but when he is he will get in touch. I’ll tell you Chris, I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable and I’ll be here whenever you’re ready to speak.”

In addition to apologizing to Chris, Smith also apologized to his family, including his mother and brother Tony Rock.

“That was one of the things about that moment that I didn’t realize,” he continued. “I didn’t think about how many people were hurt at that moment. I want to apologize to Chris’ mother and Chris’ family, especially his brother Tony Rock.”
“Disappointing people is my central trauma. I hate when I let people down, so it hurts psychologically and emotionally to know that I didn’t live up to people’s image and impression of me,” he said. “The work I’m trying to do is that I’m deeply remorseful and I try to be remorseful without feeling ashamed of myself.”
