The Knowles family bought the house in 1982 and lived there until Beyoncé was 5, real estate agent Brad Upshaw of The Upshaw Group told Good Morning America in 2018.
Located at 2414 Rosedale Street, the two story home features a third floor loft, renovated kitchen and two fireplaces. It went on sale for $500,000 in 2018 and was reduced to $450,000 in 2019, according to the Zillow list.
While the home is by no means small, it’s modest compared to her current properties with husband Jay-Z: Their 30,000-square-foot mansion in Bel-Air, California cost $88 million when they bought it in 2017. Two months later, they also bought a 12,000-square-foot beach house in the Hamptons, New York for $26 million.
