This Hancock Park mansion on McCadden Place, owned by Hollywood celebrity Alexandra Daddario, recently sold for $7,675,000.

Here’s just some real estate buzz to start the new year.

Several real estate gossip sites have posted that Hollywood star Alexandra Daddario and her husband, film producer Andrew Form, have just sold their Hancock Park mansion for $7,675,000. The couple bought the 5 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home just over a year ago for a $7.3 million discount. The couple reportedly bought the 5,000-square-foot home from TV producer John Wells, who originally put it on the market for $7.9 million.

“Wells, 64, is a longtime real estate enthusiast whose portfolio is frequently on the move,” reported Variety.com when the home was listed in 2021. The home is in the neighborhood as the former residence of local architect William Hefner and his late wife, acclaimed interior designer Kazuko Hoshino, and the couple’s signature styles remain evident, according to the Realty.com report.

The talented design couple were also very generous with their time and talent for the local non-profit Alexandria House. Heffner offered his extensive design expertise for the renovation of the Green House after it was damaged by fire a few years ago.

The Wells are also known for their generosity to Alexandria House. The John and Marilyn Wells Foundation was the first to make a $1 million donation to the campaign to purchase the Kenmore Apartment building, which will provide 40 apartments for low-income families working with Alexandria House.
