On Thursday (June 29), Billboard confirmed the icon is home and feeling better, and Oseary noted in his original post that “a full recovery is expected.” However, the hospitalization forced Madge to put her big, much-anticipated Celebration tour on hold for the time being.

Following news of her hospitalization, celebrities flooded social media with love, support and congratulations. “We send our prayers,” The Weeknd wrote on his Instagram Stories, where he reposted Oseary’s statement.

Madonna’s longtime friend Debi Mazar shared a souvenir photo of the duo and wrote a reassuring message in the caption: “Get well soon sis! Rest, recover, restart! The strongest girl I know…To all her fans: Madonna is on the mend and resting!”

The superstar’s backing singers, Niki and Donna, shared a similarly loving message, along with their own throwback photo. “To see, believe and KNOW ONLY the BEST for Ms to heal quickly… SHE is a warrior and her body will listen to the power within her…” WE SAW THIS. We believe THAT. WE KNOW THAT. HEALTH and WHOLETH are the order of the day!!! And so it is. We always send our prayers of love and healing light,” they captioned their post.

Under Oseary’s Instagram statement, several stars shared their well wishes, including RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage, who wrote, “Take good care of our Queen.”

Rita Wilson echoed this sentiment, writing, “Sending my prayers to Madonna for a speedy recovery.”

Julia Garner, who was reportedly cast to portray Madge in the paused biopic about her life, captioned it with a slew of heart and prayer emojis. Jon Batiste expressed a similar sentiment with a series of prayer emojis. Isla Fisher continued the love in her comment, sharing, “Sending her so much love from us.”
