Celebrities React As Iyabo Ojo ‘Abandons’ Colleagues, Pitches Tent With Preferred Presidential Candidate
Fans of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo have hailed her unwavering support for Labor Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi.
The mother-of-three previously announced on social media that she is OBEDIENT and will vote for former Anambra state governor Peter Obi in Nigeria’s upcoming general election.
The mother-of-two, who is dating showbiz guru Paulo Okoye, reiterated her stance, writing:
My choice is @peterobigregory, we need a breath of fresh air and I strongly believe in his vision and mission, especially his managerial skills.
Nigeria cannot be repaired in 4 years but we need a positive starting point for a better Nigeria lest our children and the yet to be born face this hardship that we are facing. We must begin to build a system that works for the good of our people and our country.
We need accountability for every wrong or right decision that is made…. Lies will no longer slip
For me, this vote is not about ethnicity and religion. It’s about ending the struggle and pain of the common man
It’s about not letting the deaths of all those who lost their lives in the Endars protests go in vain
This is profound for me, but unfortunately I can’t campaign because I’m a target. God willing I pray His Excellency Peter Obi wins and I pray he doesn’t disappoint us when he comes in so God help us.
If he doesn’t win, I pray that whoever wins will lead Nigeria properly, if not, Nigeria will not be able to bear the fate that awaits him
Please vote for your choice, vote peacefully, protect your voice, vote your conscience, vote for a better Nigeria……God bless Nigeria, God bless us all… #iamobedient #obedientmovement.
Following her stance, some fans and peers flocked to her Facebook page to praise her for not supporting All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu as other Yoruba actors had done.
