NEW DELHI, 2ND SEPTEMBER (UNI) Prime Video’s highly anticipated fantasy saga The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premiered in two episodes on Friday.
As fans absorb the grand adventure of the fabled Second Age in Middle-earth, social media is deluged with reviews and reactions praising the Amazon Original series.
Popular A-list actors Hrithik Roshan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Rasika Duggal, as well as acclaimed filmmakers Guneet Monga and Kabir Khan and his significant other and celebrity host Mini Mathur attended the series’ grand Asia-Pacific premiere in Mumbai and marveled about the visual spectacle.
From “larger than life to adorable,” these celebrities were stunned by The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
Hrithik called the series “amazing,” while Tamannaah said, “The level of detail is kind of puzzling and transports you to another world.”
A stunned Kabir Khan said “I’ve never seen such size in my life” as he praised the creators for their efforts.
Rasika enjoyed revisiting The Lord of the Rings in a unique way, and Mini Mathur, who is a fan of JRR Tolkien, was speechless.
Film producer Guneet Monga can’t wait for the series to unfold as she thought it was “really cool”.
Created by JD Payne and Patrick McKay, the series is set thousands of years before Tolkien’s original trilogy and explores the history of Middle-earth in the Second Age.
It stars Morfydd Clark as Galadriel, Rob Aramayo as Elrond, Benjamin Walker as High King Gil-galad, Charles Edwards as Celebrimbor, Nazanin Boniadi as Bronwyn, Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Queen Regent Miriel, and Sophia Nomvete as Princess Disa Owain Arthur as the Prince Among others Durin IV.
The first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power are now streaming on Prime Video in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. New episodes are released weekly, with the series airing its epic season finale on October 14.
