Celebrities mourn veteran actor’s death
Acclaimed actor Mamukkoya, who has starred in a number of famously funny and serious roles, will never be replaced and celebrities and moviegoers alike are mourning his death. Numerous Mollywood stars have expressed their condolences in memory of the late actor Mamukkoya on their official social media accounts.
Dileep posted a heartfelt message on his official Instagram account, which read, “That full smile has faded, with the heart, like a friend and brother, goodbye to the sultan of laughter.”
Rest in Peace Maamukkoya Sir! Prithviraj Sukumaran wrote in an emotional caption with a photo of Mamukkoya from the film Kuruthi. I’ve had the absolute honor of collaborating with you on screens on a number of occasions. But being so close to you as you unleashed #Moosa in #KURUTHI was a memory I will always cherish. #Legend.”
As Mamukkoya passed away, Tovino Thomas shared a photo of the venerable actor on social media with the message “RIP”.
Alongside a photo of Mamukkoya, an emotional Kunchacko Boban wrote on his Instagram account, “Another legend bids farewell leaving some fond memories…MAMMOOKKOYA CHETTAN.”
The legendary actor’s death was mourned by a number of prominent celebrities including Jayasurya, Jayaraj, Vineeth, VA Shrikumar and Unni Mukundan.
