AUSTIN (KXAN) – The list of stars set to attend the 2023 CMT Music Awards in Austin, Texas continues to grow.
For the first time, the Icon Award ceremony will be broadcast from the “world capital of live music” on Sunday, April 2nd.
Here are the newcomers to the show:
- Alanis Morissette will also be making her debut at the CMT Music Awards Ingrid Address, Laine Wilson, Madeleine Edwards, Morgan Wade to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the CMT Next Women of Country franchise
- Gwen Stefani will be making her CMT debut Carly Pearce for world premiere collaboration
- Shania Twain is recognized with the third at all “CMT Equal Play Award,” recognizing an artist who is visibly and vocally committed to uplifting diverse and underrepresented voices in country music.
